New technologies are always on the rise faster than previously assumed. Last year, for example, 3D printers were used for medical purposes for the first time. For organic materials, which turned out to be lighter, cheaper and more flexible, the first practical applications were found. And drugs that use nanotechnology were first developed in medical laboratories.
It's no secret that understanding the impact and application of new technologies is critical to their early deployment. Often they are powerful tools that should be used in good time for our daily purposes.
