Clear polyester for exterior
There is a whole range of applications outdoors or in protected outdoor areas where the good readability of a control unit by means of a touchscreen should be ensured despite a wide variety of light and sun conditions or at least contribute to the comfort of the user.
For example, in the case of crane control, the touch panel must remain easy to read at all times. But even with outdoor kiosk systems, the intensive use of the application depends crucially on the attractiveness of the image. Only if the readability is good and the screen content is perfectly recognizable, the touch application will prove itself in this place.
The Clear Polyester option from Interelectronix has a perfectly smooth surface and accordingly the appearance in sunlight is very good. For perfect sunlight readability, we also recommend the use of our circular polarization filter.
Antiglare polyester for indoor use
This completely glare-free polyester anti-reflective coating is perfect for indoor applications, for example in industrial environments for machine control, in the control area or in process visualization. Here, both a reflection-free surface and an image brilliance and sharpness of the image, which are only slightly influenced by the touchscreen, are required.
The anti-glare polyester has a rough surface and correspondingly excellent anti-reflective properties in closed rooms without direct sunlight.
It goes without saying that the polyester anti-reflective coating meets the protection classes up to IP 67 required for industrial use: The surface can withstand jets of water and steam and is resistant to contamination by oil, solvents and aggressive chemicals.
